I think that it would be worth a road trip to get that 40! My 50 Merc came from Bismark, some nice old tin hibernating in that neck of the woods.

I found most of a 39 coupe a ways east of Bozeman. It had been placed in the bank of the Yellowstone River (for rip-rap?) Torched the top off a little below the belt line, and hauled it home for future roof patching material on a 40 Deluxe coupe that sat on its top on an Indian reservation. So, the latter will be a 40 coupe with 39 windshield wipers. That ought to confuse a few people. I sure hope the coupe contours are the same between 39 and 40!
