Bob ..if you read again what i typed and said ----- buy a repro door and cut the piece off it that you need and used it ! I did not say the WHOLE door... And the laugh you hear is how many COMPLETE Roadster repro. bodies are receiving Senior Awards from A.A.C.A. I remember 1 did go thru MARC with ?????? I argued at A.A.C.A. Judging class that it is unfair that someone buys a repro Roadster body and enters judging against ORIGINAL restored bodied Phaeton , Cabriolets and 400A [not A400] . Where does the restoration come in??? on a repro??? The answer i got was that your restoration should be as good as the repro . body... Cost never entered their minds...
