Good luck on the surgery Ken. And yes, do ALL of the therapy prescribed.

Ken,
Glad to hear you are back on the job. The 97 made a world of difference in my `35. After sitting all winter without being started it only cranks over a few times with full choke and it starts. I suspect the check valve in the gas line has a lot to do with it too.

Al, I’m sure you will agree that not everyone who post on this forum is completely proficient at spelling and/or grammar at all times, myself included. We’ve all committed spelling errors in post by fat fingering the keyboard, etc., in our hast to respond. Certainly you know that Tony is not unique in that regard. This post started out with people wishing Ken CT well with respect to his knee operation, I too wish him well in that regard. The subjects of how Ken tests his fuel pumps and carburetors’ were posted by two other individuals. Apparently Tony does not think that Ken’s method of testing is “professional”, and he stated as much. KUBE’s contribution to the conversation was (as is usual with him, in my experience) a cheap shot because of a misspelling and it looks like you’ve taken the same path… Best wishes to Ken for a successful operation and a speedy recovery.

Good wishes Ken. I had both done close to 15 years ago, still trucking along. Do yourself a favor & do the exercises before the surgery as it will quicken the healing process. Out of commission for a spell , I doubt it. You can still do the work while sitting.
Just returned from 2,000 mile round trip to L A Roadster show in the 32 so don't worry yourself, it'l be just fine.

I wish you a speedy recovery Ken. As for the smart ass who can't spell, I am COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the job you did rebuilding my carburetor and fuel pump. My 36 runs great.

Ken, It looks like you might have a "history" with Kiwinus.
If you look you will notice there are a lot of Kiwi's on here in fact one particular thread I noticed the other day, had more posts from different Kiwis, than from anywhere else.
I have already had some good helpful advise from one who I'd only recently met here.
I'd just like to, as nicely as I can, suggest that if anybody has a gripe with anyone else here, that they take the P.M. route, to make this a place we'd all like to be.
I for one am here to learn, and help others.
Wishing you Ken, a fast and painless full recovery, and keen to see you back here helping people (and us Kiwi's) in the near future.
