Welcome to the hobby. You will find this site full of information. Membership in a local club is always a good way to locate where to get things done and suggestions on parts etc. Since you are in the airforce you might be interested in one of the early chapters of MAFCA. There was a chapter at Edwards AFB. The cars all stayed there and people would pass ownership to people that transferred in and gave them up as they were transferred out. I don't know what ever happened to the cars etc. but the chapter went away awhile back. Just thought it would be interesting history to someone interested in Model As and the airforce.
