I bought new led brake light and parking light bulbs, do I have to do anything special besides putting them in?

Tom, If you have turn indicators you may have to replace the flasher with one designed for LED's or add resistors in parallel. You can buy the resistors online that are designed for replacing incandescent bulbs with LED's.
Some LED's are polarity sensitive, some are not. Google the bulbs you bought to see is they are good for positive or negative ground or both. I am assuming that you bought the correct voltage. If you put them in and they don't work then perhaps the polarity is wrong.

I bought these bulbs from one of our suppliers. Not using them for blinkers just stop and parking lights.
