Astronomy and telescope making. Another great hobby for a tinkerer:
I know of no subject connected with the pursuit of science which so abounds with exciting and delightful interest as that of constructing reflecting telescopes. It brings into play every principle of constructive art, with the inexpressibly glorious reward of a more intimate acquaintance with the sublime wonders of the heavens. James Nasmyth, Engineer/Inventor, 1883Doug

Daisys were made just down the road from me in Plymouth. The local museum has a section of wood floor from the old factory, with about a million BBs pressed into it. My Dad collected daisys, and after he passed away, I kept an example of each type.

I love collecting anything to do with Hopalong Cassidy.(The real king of the cowboys) My father worked at a creamery and all the drivers were issued Hoppy hats, that's what started my collecting. Also love antique restoration and old stuff in general.

Photography, Ford Memorabilia (1903-1960 period), heavy metal concerts. Don't really have time for much else!

interested in: almost any car or truck from Model T years through 1960s, brewery and RC collectibles, "Aladdin" brand oil lamps, license plates and plate toppers, old Starr-X bottle openers, Allis-Chalmers (and other) tractors, antique furniture; actually most anything related to history.
really stopped collecting anything other than Model A related stuff a few years back, but the right find could always reverse that trend. ![]()

Crude, crafty, country style wood stuff, stained glass, digging antique bottles, now just Model A doodling and over analyzing a very simple basic car and scratching the dog's back. Oh, and I "COOK!"

Love metal detecting, outhouse digging (old ones not new ones) for bottles, working on most anything mechanical and working in my machine shop at home. They are not a hobby, but I also love the kids on my school bus route.

I have been collecting model Texaco Trucks. Texaco started this once a year issue 28 years ago, I have all 27 of the previous issues, #28 is on order. They are getting harder to come by now that Texaco merged with Chevron and there are no Texaco stations anywhere I live or visit anymore.

I write novels that no one but me will publish, and I spent seventeen years learning how to make black and white Anasazi pots. Bet nobody else does that!

All things related to cars, not only model A's. I have a 1929 Durant, 4 Model A's, a 1929 DeSoto, a warmed over 6pack Charger. Then there's the garden, and plastic models of not only cars, but planes that the RAAF operated. I play golf, well not really play, but more walk a lot chasing a white ball as well as cycle.

I use to play a lot of golf but found it interfered with my Model A projects. Frankly, I do not need any other things, I love the A's and have felt this way since 1962. At 83 do not think I will try to get involved with any thing else but Model A's and will enjoy until the day I depart this world.
