On my 2012 F150 all you have to do is add 700-800 (incl passengers) lb payload and mileage goes way south….. like 10-12 mpg. One passenger and interstate constant driving it does 22-24 mpg…level ground or so.
But it does use reg gas flex fuel.

My 5 gal figure was worst case scenario. Some larger campers towing trailers like you see at swap meets can get that mileage. My 2006 F150 2wd 5.4 only gets 15-17 above 60mph.

I am in LOVE LOVE LOVE with my EcoBoost 2018 Ford F150 4dr with 10 speed transmission. You in a hurry wanna drive the speed limit, no problem, you'll get around 19 mpg. If you leave early and drive 64, your mpg jumps up to 28/29!!! A 4 Dr truck that gets as good as my wife's sedan.
Did I mention I LOVE this truck??
My wife and I will be there, probably on Saturday.
