A lot of advice here but lowering the 41 is a whole lot different than 42-48. The front end is totally different with the 40/41 sway bar and shock setup. The rear has a different spring setup which was changed in 42. I've had them low in the front, taildragger and stock. I stopped trying to outguess the Ford engineers long ago

can you tell me what problems you have with longer shackles, I was thinking
about putting some on my 46 coupe, they sell them at SO-CAL. they are about 2 inches longer than stock, what should I expect, will it change the ride or handling |
