My dad just picked up a 1930 Model A truck in fair-good condition.
Can you recommend some books to help us get started. (repair, reconditioning, ect) Are tailgates steel or alum. Thanks Last edited by Mitchal; 04-23-2014 at 09:05 PM. |

The tailgate should be steel. Good books are the Owner's Manual, Restoration Guidelines, Service Bulletins, as well as parts books from some of the Model A parts houses, such as A&L, Bert's, Bratton's, Snyder's, and others.
