I just replaced my 29ccpu windshield,got it from Brattons it fit perfectly. I made a pattern before I installed it,so if I ever have to replace it I can go locally and have it cut.

Usually, we all encounters a rude person in any business.

Please remember in most cases, this rude person's main mental attitude problem is not at all involving us in this place of business ......... the deep rooted problem can often be found around this person's home ..... then this person usually brings this problem to this person's place of business.

If you pray for this person while he/she is at home with the problem, you can forget what happened at his/her place of business, and find peace within, and get happy again.

Something similar was told to us around 2,000 years ago; however, we can all admit that we do not try this peaceful solution very often.

Back before the beginning of time (early '60s) I went to a glass shop in Las Cruces NM and had them make me a window for my '53 Merc. They had all the templates on a paper roll of some sort, laid a piece of glass on top of it and cut it out, polished the edges and sent me on my way. Glass fit perfectly.

I've had Todd at Vintage Glass in Ct. do many pieces including windshields on Model A's and couldn't be more pleased with his work. He is located a short distance away in Tolland Ct. One time I scratced a quarter window in a town sedan and I called him for a replacement, he had a new piece cut and waiting by the time I got there to pick it up, saved the day and reasonable cost to boot. I didn't think they would be talking about the same guy.

There exists in Tolland, Connecticut a company named Vintage Glass USA. I suspect, but don't know for certain, that there is NO connection between the company in Connecticut and the company which is the subject of this thread.

The Connecticut glass company assisted me with replacing the windshield for one of my cars and the experience was very pleasant and the glass work was perfect.

I'd hate to see someone avoid the Connecticut company because of the matters addressed in this thread.

When I was in business, I had my glass cut by Todd at Vintage Glass USA, in Tolland, for every car I restored. He has patterns that are older than me, and his work is exellent. He even replaced the windshield in my MGB.
