I have searched the country and manuals and so far no one can give me a modern paint code for Model A chicle drab or copra drab. some sites claim chicle drab dupont code is B8854 but 2 shops here have made test mix and it is not even close to the relatively light chicle color. The car club color manuals with sample chips are extremely too dark. I've contacted some Ford Barn owners of chicle cars but they do not know paint codes. Anybody out there who can solve? Larry

A friend recently painted his car with the Drabs. I will try to get the formula from his paint supplier.

Big thanks to forum members giving codes and problems with Model A paint colors chicle drab and copra drab. It looks like it is near impossible to get an "official code" to match original colors. Unless we have a nice original car part with well preserved chicle then we just guess. If someone has that perfect part then they were serve us all well by having it 'shot' by the duPont etc paint store with their 'matching' gun and post code and mix for us green horns.
