It would feel awkward shifting with my left hand, but am sure I could get good at it, if that was mine.

Don't know if it's available down under but Gibbs oil is an option to use to preserve the paint. JMO

https://gibbsbrandlubricant.com/
It leaves no sticky dirt attracting residue and can even be painted-over! (Gibbs) Contains No: Silicon's, Waxes, Acids, Corrosives, Teflon, Graphite, Abrasives, Arsenic, Kerosene, Perfumes, Carcinogens or Synthetics.

Very interesting truck, thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Post pictures of the engine and radiator and we can help identify those in case you ever need maintenance items for them. Pictures of the intake surface, area above the distributor, and oil pan rails to see if there are core plugs down there.

I was guessing the truck would be geared way down after seeing the 7 ton rating on the trailer. The granny four speed transmission and two speed axle probably got a work out when the truck was in service. Is the shifter looking lever on the left side of the cab the two speed axle shifter? I have a friend with a 39 truck project with a lever shifted two speed, and the lever is next to the left kick panel. Did Ford not make a different axle shifter setup for right hand drive trucks?

Two rifle clips on dash and maybe the rifle butt fixtures below on floor. CMP fixtures are in the rear of the interior. Fits the Enfield. Newc
