MAFCA Central Midwest: June 11-15, 2012 Altoona, Iowa

MAFCA Texas Tour: June 14-16, 2012 Marble Falls, Texas

MAFCA Northwest Regional: June 14-19, 2012 Boise, Idaho
Finally one I can go to!

MAFCA National: June 18-22, 2012 Marquette, Michigan

12 straight days of pure Model A/AA Ford FUN!

MAFCA National: June 18-22, 2012 Marquette, Michigan

The national meets MARC at Oshkosh and MAFCA at Marquette are lined up perfectly for members of both clubs. This is awesome.

So why would MAFCA regionals schedule events that probably will conflict with their own MAFCA national meet? This is like gving their members a "this or that" choice.

Poor planning on the part of the folks who scheduled that Iowa meet. Its up against the MARC national. Last time I checked Iowa is close to Wisconsin. Also, it is detracting from the MAFCA national in the UP which isn't that far away. I'm surprised the MAFCA BOD approved it. Obviously the Texas and Boise MAFCA events don't impact as much due to the wider geo separations.

I'm greatly looking forward to the MARC/MAFCA national doubleheader.

I wonder if either board, MARC or MAFCA, knew of the others scheduling?

One of these days both meets are going to be on the same weekend (maybe even in the same area).
