Pictures after head swap (hot rod content)
Finished swapping the Cyclone heads to new Edelbrocks. Hard to tell, but I polished the sides and fin tops. I guess I'll need to do the intake next winter, haha.
Happy to find the NOS radiator hoses and the 2.5" Wittek thumb screw hoes clamps. It keeps everything within the period of the look I was going for. Enjoy the eye candy. Last edited by Tim Ayers; 05-29-2024 at 07:41 AM. |

Now you need original Rajay spark plug ends on those wires.

I guess they really should be kissed with the TIG to fix them once and for all, so I took them off to get a better look at them. I also really like how the ARP stud kit with real acorn nuts for the #1126 heads looks as well. Such a clean look. |

Beautiful job Tim! I'd love to see a couple shots of the whole car too.

Re: Pictures after head swap (hot rod content)
I noticed that on your velocity stacks you have a heavy scren air cleaner. Be carful here because the wrong air cleaner can cause a rich mixture. always check yor AF with and without your air cleaners. This has cause nme problems when tuning. Getting everything working great and then the engine gets poor mileage> Wonder why???

Hi Ron:
Thanks for the tip. The screen is pretty much stainless window screen, but I'll double check it for restrictions. |

Re: Pictures after head swap (hot rod content)
Yeah, you can't beat the ARP kit . . . is really high-quality stuff.
Obviously, it hurts to pay for it, but once you put them on an engine, you're glad you did! LOL |
