I am a little dyslectic. When I first read this I read it as "28 in an Edsel" and thought some college kids or circus clowns had got a hold of an Edsel.

Wasn’t the first one off the assembly line a roadster? And if so, could this be it?

This photo was taken November 30th, 1927 and it was Edsel Ford personally presenting The New Ford for the first time to newspapermen from around the country.

Here's the unique pinstripe detail that JB pointed out.

No. The first production Model A was a Tudor produced on October 21st.
