I have a really dumb question but are going to ask it anyway.
Recently had a Sun D-1 tach converted by Williamson to not require the sending unit. My Model A is the first positive ground car I've owned and don't know where to connect the "trigger" wire for the tach. I don't want to risk screwing the tach up, can someone please advise me where to connect the trigger wire from the tach. I appreciate everyone's patience with my questions. You're all really a big help. |

So a tach or tach-dwell meter attaches and works regardless of whether the ignition is positive or negative ground?

Whomever converted it for you, perhaps you should send them an e-mail, and ask them? A photo of which wires might help. I hate finger pointing contests, if ya know what I mean.

The trigger wire should attach to the points side of the coil.
