I've got several 59A gasket sets where only one head gasket was used. They are composite style. Is there a marking that designates left or Right side?
Thanks in advance |

They are usually marked FRONT or have a notch on the front side.

There is a small notch cut in the edge of the gaskets. This notch goes to the front.

The notch will tell you front from back, but he is asking side to side.
I'm mainly an "8BA guy", but I don't thinks it makes much difference. Think about it; if it was important, they would be clearly marked as such. |

The heads don't have a left or right. The gaskets have a front and back. It can be confusing, especially with the copper gaskets. Because one side looks different than the other. However it's not noticeable once the heads are on.
