Default Re: Early brakes questions!!

Just came across this older post about the early 28 braking system. I have recently purchased an early 28 coupe with the e-brake lever on the left, and the segmented cross shaft that does not utilize the sleeve bearings but rather just has the cross shafts retained within the frame brackets. I would like to keep this system but since my frame brackets are missing, and as I understand it I am unlikely to find a replacement set, I am looking for a good picture or two on what these looked like. I am hoping I can modify the more common brackets for the bushing variety to suit my needs. If yours had the bushing-less cross shaft, is there any chance you could send me a pic of the brackets? Thanks for any assistance you might be able to provide. Jack email: [email protected]
