Charlie Price runs an outfit called "Vintage Speed". They sometimes have parts that cannot be sourced elsewhere. However, they have the most atrocious customer service and are difficult to work with. "Honest Charlie's Speed Shop" is a completely different outfit. I bought a lot of stuff from them in the fifties and sixties, but have not done anything with them for 50 years, so I will not offer an opinion. There is another "Charlie" that should be mentioned and that is Charlie Schwendler in New York. I don't think he's a corporation, just a very skilled enthusiast who does nothing but the best work on carburetors, fuel pumps, and distributors for Ford flathead V8's. His work is of the highest standards and above reproach. In addition he provides other hard to find services such as re-bushing Ford transmission gears.

They are three very different Charlies", confuse them at your peril.

Charlie Schwindler from NY, for a rebuild of a 94 Carb. he has an ad in the V8 Times. Max Musgrove for a Stromberg 97 rebuild. Spark plug wires should not have any resistance they are copper wire not carbon fiber, for the original ignition system. I believe the original Carb for a 37 is the Stromberg 97. Post a photo or several of your Carb, and distributor.
