Good for you both to enjoy that ride. Truck looks & apparently runs fine soo if it were mine
I would leave it just like it is in your picture. One of the last memories I have of my dad was when I took him out to McDonalds for fries & cheeseburger ,man he had a bid grin from ear to ear. He was just recovering from a stroke. He lived alone & lay on the floor for while until my sister found him. |

What a neat thing you and your dad got to experience. Good on you, and your truck looks great just the way it is.

Thank you all so much. I'm really a little overwhelmed.
I don't often post but I've gotten a lot of help from the good folks here just reading and searching. I've even gotten a few hard to find parts from a few members here. I couldn't have done it without you guys. |

Well, maybe you just need to come hang-out a little more often. Tell some stories, or even tell a lie or two! DD

That is such a nice thing to do, way to go.
I am in the same boat with my '49, although no family history with mine. I just want to get it running/driving so my Dad can enjoy it. He hot rodded flatheads as a young man, would be great for him to drive one again. Cheers
