I want to replace the front axle bumpers which I think are original. The bolt stud is 3/8 and the thread count is 24. Replacement bumpers have a 7/16 stud with a 20 thread count. The nut, I believe, is caged in the frame and really difficult to replace.
Do I have any options? |

Check around with other vendors for the bumpers. All the axle bumpers I have purchased had the mounting studs/threads that matched the originals. "40 axle bumpers are 3/8 -24. Use them as most people will drive through Arizona and never know you have the wrong axle bumpers.

Thank you, 19Fordy, I got the 7/16 stud bumpers from C&G. I'll call Joe or Kyle tomorrow to see what they say.
And, Barnfind, thank you for locating the NOS ones that are 3/8 x 24. |
