Default I wonder

Just read an article in the March, April 1964, volume 8-issue 6 of The Restorer written by Patricia Flink. It's an amazing tale of her trip across country and back with her friend Carolyn in a 28 coupe she restored. Was wondering if she is still around and driving a Model A. Well worth the read, Bill

I asked this very question about three years ago and received zero replies. Even a Google search turned up nothing. I wanted to write Patty Flink and tell her what an influence her article about her adventure in a 1928 Coupe was to me in 1973. It gave me the resolve to make my first cross-country trip in a Model A from Arizona to Iowa in the 1928 roadster I had just rebuilt. 'Sorry if I am stepping on PC sensitive toes here*, but I figured if a girl could build a Model A and drive it across America and back, so could I!!! I have revisited that article many, many times over the years. I sure wish I had been old enough to know (and date!) Patty back in the early 1960's! Sigh...

A few years ago there was also a young gal that built or restored a pickup truck, and I haven't heard anything more since then. She may have been still in high school at the time. I might be mistaken, but seem to recall it being a red 1929, and I was wondering if she is still involved with Model A's, and how many miles has she driven her pickup?
