Shipshewana isn't very far from South Bend, which has the Studebaker National Museum, and with senior discount it only costs 5 or 6 dollars. Well worth the side trip, and when you go you can see my dream car on the second floor. It's that beautiful white 1953 Champion. Plan to spend 3 hours at least to see everything on all 3 levels.

Another good museum not too far away is the Gilmore, where our Model A museum is located. Plan to spend most of the day at the Gilmore because there is so much to see.

Don't forget both the ACD Museum and Early Ford V8 Museum, both in Auburn, Indiana. No lines in the off season.

Remember Mitch will be working so the national economy will continue to be robust as the rest of us take some time off to enjoy the area around Shipshewana!
