bicycle chain
the springs are popping thru the upholstery on my driver's seat, and poke me in the butt.
I am thinking of installing an auxillary steering wheel that I have lying around on the right side of the dash and connect that to the left side steering wheel with a bicycle chain. That way I can sit on the right and drive where the upholstery is nice and cushy I might also grind the teeth off the starter drive so they don't get caught on the flywheel and get stuck and then I can use the hand crank with no worries

Re: bicycle chain
Mine does the same. I like your idea but I'm thinkin' of just taking the seat out and making it a stand up driver like a milk truck.

Re: bicycle chain
Dave, if you installed an electric fan, that would take care of your seat troubles. I don't know how, but I'm pretty sure someone here thinks it would.
