What is this out of and what other stock application does it have if any?

49-50 mercury. I had one in a 40 ford. Took it out and replaced it with a S10 t5

Don't believe that's a '49 Merc. The green '49 Merc (seen in second picture) is OPEN drive....NOT torque tube. I believe the orange one is gonna be a '40s Lincoln. DD

It's a customized 51 Lincoln Cosmo done in the 50's in Tucson Arizona by Charlie Hall and his son.
He needed a shop truck and knew these Lincolns were built like trucks so he built one. It was his shop truck until a couple of years ago when it became my shop truck. All stock under the hood with 12 volt system, elect fan, custom made top, shop fabbed upper quarters, box floor, tailgate etc. and now Appleton 112 spots. All stock trim and bumpers with a nice array of curved lens SW gauges under the dash. Charlie was a craftsmen and gentleman of the first order and I was lucky to know him. Thanks for asking. John
