'35-'36 Luggage Rack Clips
Does anyone know if the original '36-'36 clips that holds on the stainless trim strips to the rack are reproduced? Ford Part Number 48-18620. Thanks, Mike

Re: '35-'36 Luggage Rack Clips
At one time: http://www.restorationspecialties.com/ use to have them. Failing that you could go to a Plan B and that is taking some screws (#6 ?), grind the heads flat and slide them inside the trim piece. Tighten them down with nuts and use a Demmel tool to cut off the excess length. I admit it is crude but it does work.

I used Bob Drake part number 40-8200-HK, (34 grill trim hardwear) to
anchor both the spare tire trim and the trim around grill. Worked great. |
