Default Dome Light

Does anyone have a schematic or diagram showing how the parts of a 30/31 Town Sedan oval dome light go together? Thanks, Ken

As far as the cover goes, I think it snaps on. For the socket itself, I think it is a single wire that is grounded to the body. I believe that 'Terry in NJ' just redid his.

Just a heads up on the dome light. It is a pretty simple task but it can be a head ache. Remember that once the head liner is installed, you will not have access to the light fixture. When I put in the dome light for my Town Sedan I ran the ground wire out to under the dash so that I had access to the connection. Also leave extra wire going to the bulb fixture so that if there is a problem with the light you can unscrew the fixture and drop it down from the roof framing for a look and testing. If you don't leave enough wire you won't have access to the connections to the fixture. Ed
