Other then a foot rest I would have no use for that bumper guard on such a nice car. Nice photo though, and I have nothing but total respect for our service men and women . Tim

I was drawn to the foot on the bumper also. I realized that bumpers "are no more." The part called a bumper is now recessed and even with the front of the car. The outer cover is some type of plastic with no protrusion. If you bump anything you have a welt or crack to deal with. In my youth if a car went by with no chrome bumpers, the car painted one color with black wall tires it would have been UGLY! I sure do love old cars!!!!
