Default Crane, Texas, late 30s

4th car is a Model A coupe. first car is a deuce. 35-36 flatback, Zephyr and a Mopar coupe. not sure on the 2nd car

The water tower is still there at 6th and Alford. Seems like a lot of liquor s available!!

Crane is one of those little towns that ebbs & flows depending on what's going on in the oil patch. There are many towns just like it all over the state. Most are in between boom or bust but they manage to survive for the most part.

A nice pic.....am thinking might be tough to back those cars out of their parking spots into traffic with the poor rear visibility in those cars!!

The first car, the deuce, looks like it has a locking arrangement for the spare. The owner of the coupe next to it probably wishes he had used one.
