Default Are Ford 1935 and 1936 Rear Bumper brackets the same?

Three questions:
1. Are 1935 and 1936 Rear Bumper brackets the same?
2. If not, what are the differences between them?
3. Are there multiple versions of the 1936 Rear Bumper brackets? (Mine seem too short for mounting luggage rack)

Rear bumper brackets for '35 vs '36 are different in the configuration of the outer ends of the brackets. '35's are straight at those ends, while '36's bend downward at those ends. This is also true for the front brackets of these years. Now some ppl will tell you they put 35 bumpers on 36 brackets or 36 bumpers on 35 brackets, and yes, that can be done by forcing them to fit, and something will bend when they do this. Don't ask me how I know this, lol

On queston 3,.... its a probably/maybe??
I don't really know for sure.... but I am sure some of the xburts here will know.

Nope, and the front bumpers and outer brackets are also different. That difference is on the outer ends of the brackets and mirror the difference in the bumpers themselves. The brackets take a turn downward on the ends to reflect the full fold over of the ends of the bumpers. '35 bumpers are only folded half way on their ends. That distinction applies to all passenger car bumpers regardless of body type
