Today, the local car museum had a run for vintage cars. When we arrived at the Swing Bridge, The Victorian T club were occupying the car park. So, whilst the other museum club members parked else where, I decided to park my modern A with the old cars, T's. A bit cheeky, but fun, and T drivers like fun.

Here’s cheeky parking! Local cars & coffee is put on by the Porsche club. My Model A powered roadster screws up their lineup! Porsche owners have no sense of humor…asked me to move and I refused.

As far as I'm concerned your car is the most interesting in the line up with the 914 being second . The rest are everyday cars without much soul but a lot of plastic.

Same thing happened to a friends dad in 1968. At the Daytona 24 hour Jerry Titus put Shelby's TranAm Mustang into 4th over all behind the 3 factory Porsche prototypes. He wanted to be in the finish photo and Porsche kept trying to wave him back so he didn't ruin their 1-2-3 PR shot. How dare that Mustang keep up with our state of the art million dollar cars......

So the next time I arrive at one of your shows and park one of my Porsches in the middle of the row of A's... you're okay with that? Or would you think I'm being a dick? Personally, I'd never do such a thing. I don't care for hot rods but can appreciate a well put together example. And I can certainly respect the fact that others love the hot rods.

As I said, Porsche owners don’t have a sense of humor! FYI, my wife sold her wide body Carrera AWD 6 speed last year. She has a sense of humor

I am laughing at you. Does that count as a sense of humor?

![]() I take that as a compliment and that certainly is the first step in getting a sense of humor.
