Hey Guys
I have had my 1915 Touring for a few months now. I have sanded and buffed the paint, changed the fluids, and it is now second nature for me to drive her. The only problem I am having is finding any Model T owners that are not more than 30 to 50 miles from me. Anyone near the Troutman, NC area? So far I seem to be the only Model T in the Troutman area that drives around and I am looking to find fellow Model T guys in my neck of the woods. Ron |

Can't help you with any T owners in your neck of the woods but I can say that is a really nice looking T. And the A's in the background ain't too shabby either.

I have lots of Model A buddies in my area but with the T I am solo. Funny how different the reactions are on the T over the A. People get really exited to see it and several have followed me on my trip through Lake Norman State Park and stop when I park to to talk. Then you get the occasional A$$ Hole all bent out of shape because I like driving around 35. Not sure of my HP but it's well over 20 as she gets to speed as fast or faster than my 29 Model A and has a KC Warford overdrive. I have had it up to 47 in overdrive at about half throttle but to be honest it gets a little questionable over 45. I seem to like going around 35 and feel in control but I have only logged 200 miles so far.

I remember your post in the Model A section. Your questions and the answers you got
were very helpful to me with my A. Just to say hello and best wishes with your T. John

I used the Model A section a lot when I first got my 29 and since then I got my 15 T and I am currently helping a friend build a 31 basket case from the frame up. I think most of the people in the Model A section are great however they have a few "Experts" that in my opinion are wrong/nasty quite a bit......I just got sick of the nasty comments from people who know less than myself. Its funny but I had the exact same experience that Paul Shinn had in the Model A section. Ron |
