Jim Linder (Bubba) as most of us now know is retired...a great resource and icon. Wish him well with his health challenges.
I have a Mallory I need tuned in for my '51 8BA...I can dismantle, ultrasonically and manually clean...but then there is the question of mechanical advance benching. I have tons of NOS stock. Would also like to have the original Ford Load-O-Matic done over. I am pushing 60, and when I was young there were masters all around me...hammer welders, lead filling, blacksmith/mechanic geniuses (my Dad) who just knew how to keep these things running. I value everyone on this forum. And such an incredibly valuable resource. Like WWll vets, we are losing the old school pros at a rapid rate. Cheers, S |
