1967 Ford Galaxie
Hello Ford Galaxie Enthusiasts,
I am trying to trace the car owner history of my 67 Galaxie 500 that I purchased this past Dec. It has a Marti Report where car came from Oxford, MS FW Belk and Son Motor Co. dealership and then wound up in an a auto auction in Missouri in 2009. There is a 2009 Mississippi inspection sticker still on car windsheild. From that time forward I have found all the owners to date. 1967-2009 has been a problem finding owners. Maybe a forum like this may help. If anyone has seen this car or knows of the owners please connect with me. It would make for a great story on my car. Thank you, Mark |

Nice looking car. I hope that someone out there can help you trace the early history of your car that you are looking for. |

Re: 1967 Ford Galaxie
67 Galaxie 2 dr hardtop outsold the other body styles that year. Read something once that they made 197,000 of the 2 dr hrdtp. I test drove one the same color as yours in 1973. Went to another dealer and bought a dark green one with 4spd. Still have it today. Only had 1 previous owner on title. What did the Marti report say as far as how many were produced like yours?

Re: 1967 Ford Galaxie
Oxford is the home of Ol' Miss university but it's not a really big town. It looks like who ever had it kept it well. The anodized aluminum pieces can take a beating over time in the elements and the pieces on that car are still pretty nice. Oxford isn't too far from Missouri since Memphis, TN is just up the road a piece.
Belk Ford is still there. Maybe they can help you out. Most folks remember cars like that. |
