Default 1929 Tudor rear widow regulator

Anybody have a fix for the left rear window regulator on my '29 Tudor - the window handle was broken off many years ago. I haven't tried to remove the upholstered panel covering the regulator yet but was wondering if there might be a fix without replacing the regulator with a repo...I think the pot metal shaft the handle was attached to is the culprit. I need that window to go down when it's hot here in Texas and so my dog can stick his head out in the wind. Maybe I can ask a more detailed question after I get a look at the regulator.....

Mac's has regulator repair kits which may be the solution to your problem.

Thanks for the replies! I talked to Steve at Bert's a couple weeks back and he didn't have any decent original regulators for the Tudor. He is my first choice for finding original parts....great service!

I need one for the drivers door on my 28 Tudor. I went to a auction a couple of weeks ago and there were a stack of them. They were cheap so I bought the stack hoping one would fit. I haven't had a chance to check them out but if I have an extra, I'd be glad to help. I'm in San angelo

I really appreciate the offer, J Wade....but I already ordered a new repro from Bert's. If that one doesn't work out, I will look you up and see if you are still open to help. I'm new here also and have really been impressed with everyone's willingness to help. Just hope I can reciprocate some day. Thanks again.
