Adding one more thing to look at, prior to the Old Car Festival activities, about 52(+/-) cars left Dearborn on Thursday morning headed to Lansing with several stops made along the way to visit museums, parks, and sites. Most of the vehicles for this tour were brass-era with the exception of a few modern 1920s support vehicles, and 5 or 6 Stanley Steamers. Over 1/3rd of the cars/trucks that made the trek were 1 & 2 cylinder cars. All totaled, I think there were 7 cars that failed the reliability part and had to be trailered in. There were 3 one-cylinder (10hp!!) Brush Liberty runabouts that started the tour, and two finished under their own power. Anyway, enuf of that. Click on the link to see pictures taken of the cars along the tour.
