I think that Model As are rarely stolen isn’t because of value, it’s that the numb nuts who steal cars don’t know how to drive a clutch car, and even if they did, they don’t know how to start a Model A.

Not if the executor of the estate is willing to help.
sure Gene, when does that ever happen in real life? lol I have had guy after guy buy a car, title cant be found, but they are promised they will get one. A yr goes by and nada. always the same story. Once the seller has their $, they dont give a dam. and that is why I sell titles. Plain and simple. |

Pa. is a title sate. Many years ago I sold a pickup at Carlisle to a guy from N.H. He didn't want the title. I made him go to the on sight notary and explained the story. I had her fill out the title as if he was titling it, we signed it and I paid for the notary work. I had her make a note to the effect that I didn't own the truck anymore and notarize that. That way if he had an accident on the way home with an illegal license plate I had roof I didn't own it.
