Lenny, Here is what my friend Ted Kafer wrote to me in an email. He is an excellent mechanic and has restored several Model A's. I like being able to adjust the timing manually but a lot of people on the Barn like the FS distributor.

"Sorry you didn't get to Mooresville. I had that same problem with points a few years back so I installed electronic ignition in the stock distributor and have never had a problem since with ignition. Glad you were able to make it home safely."
