Remember that when checking head nut torque to back the nut off ~90° before re-tightening to check torque. Some people index mark the nut and the head before loosening the nut, to see if the "re-torquing" changes the setting.

I do this and it’s very helpful when using the graphite head, because you can stop re-torquing after just a couple of runs and feel confident that you got it. A quarter turn isn’t necessary though, just break it loose.
