Default Re: Overseas Freight Charges - particularly to Australia

Nice plug, Derek!!!!
When I buy something that will cost me my first born in freight, I have it delivered to a freight forwarder in LA where it is put in a container when they have a load and I pick it up from their warehouse when it arrives. Latest costs were $45 if under 20kg and $90 if more than 20kg. It might take a while longer but if you plan ahead and are prepared to wait, it's much cheaper.
A radiator with lots of other bits in a box taped to the side of the rad. box cost $45.
Ditto comments about Sammy and Keith.
