Y-B, that's threaded 1/4-20. Wrong thread. You need threadstock in 12-24. If you try 1/4-20 it will go in a little way and then jam, bougering up the threads in the D-nuts. I did find this stuff on the river store https://www.amazon.com/Pieces-12-24x...57&sr=8-1&th=1 but that's a lot of stock for what you need it for. McMaster-Carr has it, pack of 10 @ 1" long https://www.mcmaster.com/95475A405/ or much cheaper to buy a 1 ft or 2 ft length.

Tom, for what shipping from the US would cost you might do better to find round stock in Germany (#12 is 5.556 mm diameter) and buy a 12-24 die, do it yourself.
