Default Any interest in a video seminar showing every Model A carburetor?

Like the title says- Any interest in a video seminar showing every Model A carburetor? Would this be something worth doing? Would your club appreciate about a 30 minute seminar video showing every carburetor a Model A could have left the factory with, and the sometimes subtle differences?

Curious. Thank you.

MAFCA members from the Dallas club did one several years ago, 'Carburetors and Carbohydrates' they have it on DVD I have a copy somewhere! It was pretty thorough.

Anything that contributes to the history of the model A. should be fully supported and done if possible!!!

I will second what Flathead said in Post #3. There must have bee some very interesting carburetors built for the Model A. I am thinking back to what was available for the Model T.

Absolutely Paul, you do a great job and a valuable service to our hobby. Please include the Marvel Shembler too.

Yes, for all the production differences, like a video judging standards instead of a written version.

Very interesting, thanks to you and Steve for doing this.

I'd also be interested in seeing a video on the various period Model A aftermarket "improvements" and what they supposedly brought - Tillotson, Marvel, maybe even a discussion on the various downdrafts that have been used. I think this is what Flathead was suggesting in Post #3 above. I'd suggest focusing on what is commonly seen on the street, not the really hotrodded stuff. Weber, 97, 94, etc. Most folks who run these alternatives, at least those I've spoke with, swear by them.

I did find this article online which I also thought was interesting.

That video is very interesting and full of good information. It is a welcomed addition to the printed info that is available.
