Do you have the large 'U' shaped radiator support and fender holder-upper? That ties everything together and mounts to the front crossmember with two large head carraige bolts and little else. There are springs like valve springs under the crossmember so the whole front clip has some 'give'. In this photo I show some temporary stay rods made from conduit so I could drive around without the front clip while I dialed in this transplanted six.

Thanks for the info GB. Looks like I am in the market for the rad support(s). I don't have either piece. I will see if the "U" frame from the 49' School bus is close enough this weekend. But the lower cross piece that bolts into the frame is what I need to go find now apparently.
