GREAT News!

The two 1935 distributors he rebuilt plus his tuning my Holley 94 Carb and getting the ignition wires right have given me an amazing ride.

Here in NC on sunny days I drive a loop out through Rockingham County... and the last 1/3 of my 25 mile ride runs me down NC Hwy 158 West... and I am not the slow vehicle... . I find myself riding along behind traffic and I have to wonder if they ever imagined I'm running a nearly 90 year old (but rebuilt) Ford Flathead.

...and good folks like Charlie helped make this possible!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

Us members don't count, but I'd thumbs up CharlieNY coming back to our online community.

I second this. While we're at it, "Pete" too. A LOT of knowledge there.

Hell, they let "Pete Hoovie" back in.

Very well said. John, and I too agree. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the arguement with Ken Isadore, the carburetor rebuilder. I don't think that Ken is still alive now so they can't fight any more. Anyway, Charlie is a good guy and Ken was too. It was an unfortunate situation. Sometimes people make mistakes and they can't be resolve it due to stubborness. Bruce

It wasn't anything to do with Ken. Charlie made some comments that broke the rules. There may have been some element of text self correction that made it worse that it was but only Charlie would know.

Im tired of hearing about all the admirable attributes of Charlie NY and how he should be reinstated. Convenient memory loss? Charlie posted the equivalent of a jaw dropping racial F bomb. It would be nice if someone called him out for that too.

Text self correction happens with your own finger tips.

It would be nice if you said this each time a barner said he should be reinstated. In this thread alone nine reinstatement comments. One push back and its time to Move on. I agree, Say it more often, like Nine times more often.
