Default Logo light turn signal

I'm looking into installing Logo Lights turn signal system, I'm not liking the yellow lights that mount between the bumpers, is there another option for another LED bulb? 1929 RPU

Hi Brokenspoke,
You might try looking at motorcycle turn signals.
Also be sure to get an ELF33P6 Turn Signal Flasher Relay, LED Compatible, 3 + Ground Wire Prongs, 6 or 12 Volts, (from Amazon) whatever your A is. This one worked well on my 31 Sport Coupe. You can also substitute LED bulbs in most lights.

If you have cowl lights in front, these can be used for turn indicators, especially with high output LED bulbs installed. If you have two tail lights, you can buy bright "LED Lens" lights to use and a rear window tail light (third light). The tail light has two rows of LED's. Both turn on for brake lights and one turns on solid and one blinks for brake and turn indicator. See https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/p...4135&cat=41728 and https://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/p...4140&cat=41728

The "LED Lenses" are super bright.

If your parking lights are built into your headlights, you can use these for turn indicators, especially with high output LED amber parking light bulbs and the self focusing LED headlight bulbs.

I have a turn signal setup that the car’s previous owner said he picked up at a MAFCA national convention. It’s housed in an aluminum box that is magnetically attached to the fuel tank, and uses the LED lamps that go between the bumper slats. It looks similar to but not identical to the current LogoLite turn signal set, so it may be a prototype or it may be a knockoff.

Regardless, I tried to hook this up to the LED replacement taillights I got from Snyder’s. No joy, didn’t light them up or flash. So I went back to the admittedly somewhat anemic ambers between the bumper slats.

So I’d be careful assuming that the LogoLites system will drive any other bulbs without checking with LogoLites.

Or, get a SignalStat system, play around with the flasher, and you can use pretty much any bulb you want.

I think Logolights has their own LEDs. Their page says they can't be hooked up ti 6 or 12v. "DO NOT CONNECT TYPE 23 SIGNAL LIGHTS TO 6V OR 12V BATTERY! DOING SO CAN DESTROY THE LED LIGHT"
They have different mounting methods and do offer red if you want those in the rear.
On thing I should have done different is where I mounted the switch (L side of dash). It's a PIA to reach through the steering wheel to activate them. I'm going to move it to the front of the seat riser where I can just reach down with my right hand and switch them on.
