Default Re: Volvo Laycock Overdrive DIY

Hi all,
my Ford Model A Coupe is now nearly ready.
What is missing now is an overdrive from a Volvo into my torque tube. Because I want to drive long distance on the highway. I got the tube and the J type overdrive from Laycock. I also do have a complete Volvo transmission from which I will take the shaft which drives the overdrive oil pump. My question would be if somebody did the job and does have detailed info on this.
Is there a sealing required on the front plate
to hold the oil inside?
How to get the oil into the OD?
Any info is welcome.

Best regards from Germany
