We have an 6 volt optima battery in a Ford script case, it is 10years old, thinking it will be needing replaced soon, how is the best way to get out of the case, through the top or bottom, or...its a 2HF--- Thanks, J R Parsons, WVa

Generally, the top is a separate piece that should be removeable. I know mine is. Hopefully, the original owner didn't glue everything together.
Since his is a non-standard process, I'm afraid you can expect anything. Give it a good lookover and maybe you can detect what was done. |

The top will come off. You’ll need to trim the plastic away from the post .
