Hello everyone, I was all set to order the long grain roof fabric for my 36 3 window and noticed the company offer with heavy backing and light backing. My first reaction was order the heavy but thought it might be too hard to lip into the rubber seal. So what are your thoughts? Thanks very much, Dale.

I do not know which fabric would be the best, so you may want to get a sample to test. Also the rubber material used to install has been made by more than one company and believe me it makes a difference which one you select to be able to install correctly. I found the Bob Drake has the correct rubber and fits very well and have had others that just do not work well.

Thank you Gary! I have the rubber retainer made by Carpenter, any feedback on that one?
