Default Re: 56 Mercury parking brake cable

A little side note....funny how the name has changed from "emergency brake" to parking brake over the years. I have used it in an emergency! Coming off the interstate hit the brakes on my 73 F100 and the pedal goes to the floor. Nothing! Used the emergency brake to stop the truck and to get it back to the house. Do that with today's "parking brake"?
