I’m trying to set the float on a zenith according to Les Andres book the float is supposed to be 1 inch & you’re supposed to set them by the washers under the valves . Mine measures about 1& 1/16th with no washers at all under valve. They say not to bend the float. What are you supposed to do then

Randy,
there are float needle valves with different installation lengths. With sensitivity, you can adjust the float on the sheet metal.

Tom Endy covers setting the fuel level in this technical article.
http://www.santaanitaas.org/wp-conte...etor-11-07.pdf Several things can affect the float level setting. |
